Families Belong Together!
In the picture above it's the reunification of a father and his two children whose reunification happened after months of being detained.
Casa's Guests in March
For the month of March, We welcomed a total of 136 releases! 90 of them made it to Casa from 25 countries. We handed out 194 snack bags and we are so thankful for all volunteers who have been part of our Snacks & Love program at GEO.
The 194 bags that we handed out this month helped surpass 1,000 snacks bags handed out to families going to visit loved ones at GEO THIS YEAR!

Community Donations
This month we had a mix of all needed donations
from clothing items, snacks, drinks, gift cards, and paper peace cranes!
These paper peace cranes were donated by Nicole (pictured on the right) with sweet messages for guest. These are placed inside backpacks who we offer to individuals who are being released from the detention center.

Spring is here, and it’s the perfect time to freshen up!
We’re organizing a volunteer cleanup to help keep CASA clean and organized for our shared spaces with folks who are released from GEO.

How You Can Support Us Today
Gift Cards: What used to be a 4 hour plane ride is now turning into a 40-60 hour bus ride for our guests that are now having to travel by land rather than air. We are in need of $25 or $50 gift cards. These gift cards are provided to our guests to purchase meals while en route to reunite with their families.
